[...] September 9th, 2007 Recently Seth Roberts blogged about “Totto-chan–The Little Girl at the Window”, a famous book by Kuroyanagi Tetsuko, after I sent him a picture of one of the trophies from Sports Day which occurred at my junior high school yesterday.
[...] I understand Totto-Chan is a favourite book of Seth; it is one of my all time favourites too. I first read it in Tamil; Iloved it but I was not too happy with the translation. Recently, I managed to get an English translation from the library and read it. In case you haven’t read the book, hunt it down–it is well worth the effort. Some diligent Googling might also get you the book online (though the legality of the online versions might be questionable). [...]
